The Greenhouse

The greenhouse is an open classroom with over 1000 native trees (sota caballo, guarumo, tucuico, Santa María, guachipelin, chirraca, guapinol, espavel, roble sabana, candelillo, bijarro, guayabo y targua). We use it for environmental education, experiential learning, tree planting, preparation of organic substrate, and seed collection with youth and their families to understand the importance of protecting the environment. To achieve the economic sustainability of this project, we partnered with companies, cooperatives, and local farmers who buy and exchange trees and organic substrates.
